Herstich Media is a sports and portrait photography business serving the Lehigh Valley and beyond, specializing in dynamic, high-quality visual content that captures the energy, emotion, and identity of athletes, teams, and organizations.

Founded by photographer Tommy Herstich, Herstich Media was built around a simple idea: great photography should do more than document a moment—it should preserve the moments that become part of a story.

Based in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Herstich Media works with collegiate athletics programs, teams, athletes, and organizations to create compelling imagery for competition, recruiting, social media, marketing, media days, and beyond. Whether it's the intensity of game day, the personality of an athlete during a media day, or a milestone worth remembering, the goal is always the same: create images that tell the story and represent the people behind them.

The name Herstich Media carries a meaning that extends beyond photography. As a family name passed down through generations, "Herstich" represents a commitment to building something that lasts. Tommy's vision is to carry that name forward by creating a business defined by excellence, integrity, and a lasting legacy—one that leaves an impact not only through the work itself, but through the athletes, teams, and organizations it serves.

Tommy's passion for photography began at an early age, exploring his hometown of Bethlehem with a pocket-sized Kodak camera and a curiosity for storytelling through images. That curiosity eventually led him to East Stroudsburg University, where he earned a degree in Digital Media Technologies with concentrations in television/film and photography.

While at ESU, Tommy joined the university's Athletics Department as a student photographer, where he developed his foundation in sports photography and had the opportunity to document some of the most significant moments in Division II athletics. He later expanded his experience through an internship with Lehigh University Athletics, working within a Division I athletic department on both photography and video production.

Those experiences have taken Herstich Media from local collegiate athletics to some of the biggest stages in the sport. Tommy's work has included photographing Lehigh Men's Basketball during the 2026 NCAA March Madness tournament in Dayton, Ohio, ESU Baseball's 2025 NCAA Division II Atlantic Super Regional Championship, and ESU Volleyball's 2025 PSAC Championship victory.

Today, Herstich Media brings that same collegiate athletics experience to clients throughout the Lehigh Valley and beyond. With a focus on sports photography, media day coverage, athlete portraits, and visual storytelling, Herstich Media is committed to providing professional imagery that helps athletes and organizations show who they are, celebrate what they've accomplished, and build their brand for what's next.
